Revelation 18 - Pastor Clay

Pastor Clay uses the text to describe the government system of Babylon.  We see a stern warning in these scriptures to not allow our hearts and minds to be taken over by this Babylonian way of thinking.

II Samuel 20-21 - Andrew Kabbani

After King David makes his way back into his kingdom he finds himself picking up the pieces of a divided people.  He must squash a rebellion, bring peace between Israel and Judah, make good on a covenant with the Gibeonites and defeat the Philistines.  Some important lessons we learn through these scriptures are (1) Delays can ruin relationships, (2) Our sins MUST be dealt with, and (3) When God gives you a victory it is meant to be a full and complete victory (i.e. David and Goliath).

Revelation 15-17 - Pastor Clay

In Chapter 15 Pastor Clay looks a little deeper at the Judgement of God on the Earth.  Specifically at the plagues brought forth by the seven angels.  In Chapter 16, we look at the seven bowls of judgement.  Finally, in Chapter 17 Pastor Clay uses Genesis 11 to discuss the city of Babylon and look at the man-made religious side of the city that is shown in chapter 17.

Pastor Clay uses the Revelation given to John in Chapter 14 to help us get a "New Song" in our lives through Christ.  We also see the one last Gospel Message given by the Angels after the Tribulation.  Finally, we use the parable of the wheat and the tares told by Jesus in Matthew 13 to explain the second coming described in the chapter. 

II Samuel 19 - Andrew Kabbani

We are up to 2nd Samuel Chapter 19, as we make our way through these two books that chronicle the life and trials of King David.  In Chapter 19 we see David making his way back into Jerusalem after he has defeated his Son Absalom in a Civil War.  We recognize three figures (Shimei, Mephibosheth, and Barzillai) that come to David as he crosses the Jordan.  These three figures represent the 3 stages of our walk with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Clay continues our study in the Book of Revelation.  We are up to chapters 12 and 13 where we look at the Celestial beings of the Woman, the Child and the Dragon as well as the Two Beasts of Chapter 13.
